Choice House Sober Living

​

Choice House offers a 12-Step based, enhanced addiction recovery sober living community for men who have completed our primary treatment program, another treatment program, or who are appropriate candidates for structured Boulder addiction recovery and sober living. Just blocks away from downtown Louisville in Boulder County, Colorado – within walking distance to shopping and bus lines – Choice House offers variable lengths of stay, with a minimum 120-day commitment.

At Choice House structured sober living, clients have private bedrooms, a clubhouse next door with an outdoor putting green and inside a pool table, ping-pong, weights, entertainment center and an overall area to spend time with each other and build their recovery community. In our Boulder sober living our men are given the opportunity to start applying recovery tools and skills they’ve learned in treatment in the safety and structure of our community, a step we believe is critical for men in early recovery. Individuals who enter our structured sober living program often participate in the separate Choice House IOP program . During the day, they are active in our community working, attending 12-Step meetings and building their recovery capital as they integrate back into life.

We host three in-person 12-step meetings each week at the clubhouse so that our men have easy access to the local recovery community. This is especially important as covid-19 has forced local recovery communities to stop in-person meetings and most support has gone online. While online meetings and fellowship are an incredible resource, it does not replace the enriching experience of in-person contact for people in recovery.

Choice House has 26 total structured Boulder sober living beds available at our 10 different homes, all neighboring each other and our clubhouse. Our staff handles each admission into our sober living program individually and determines the right fit. Over and over we’ve witnessed our protected sober living community become the foundation and springboard that launches our men back into a rich life and a durable recovery.
